APPLICATION PRINCIPLES AND REQUIREMENTS

A. Students who have graduated from any institution with Turkish high school equivalence and who meet the application criteria below may apply for enrollment at Trabzon University;

International students,
Those holding Turkish citizenship by birth who have renounced their Turkish citizenship, and their children under 18 who are listed in the renouncement document but can document their certification for rights as per the Turkish Citizenship Law No: 5901, Item 7, stating that “Anyone born, either in Turkey or abroad, in the marriage of a Turkish mother or father, is a Turkish citizen.” ,
Those who hold citizenship of other countries by birth and have gained citizenship to the Republic of Turkey / those who hold dual citizenship,

Among those who have pursued their secondary education abroad before the date of 01/02/2013 and who hold citizenship in the Republic of Turkey, those who have completed their last three years of secondary education in another country, other than the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (including those who have completed their entire secondary education in a Turkish institution under the Ministry of Education of Turkey in another country, other than TRNC),
Those who have begun their secondary education abroad after the date of 01/02/2013 and who have completed their high school education in another country, other than TRNC (including those who have completed their entire secondary education in a Turkish institution under the Ministry of Education of Turkey in another country, other than TRNC),

Those who hold citizenship in TRNC, who reside in TRNC and who have completed their secondary education in a GCE AL system, as well as those who have registered and completed their secondary education in a GCE AL system abroad between 2005-2010.

B. Those who have received a suspension due to a disciplinary action from a Higher Education Institution can not apply for the quota of International Students. Those who apply for the quota of International Students must meet the application requirements.

Those who hold citizenship in the Republic of Turkey and have completed their secondary education in Turkey or in TRNC,
Those who hold citizenship in TRNC (except for those who have completed their entire secondary education in a GCE AL system in TRNC, and those who have registered and completed/will complete their secondary education in a GCE AL system abroad between 2005-2010),
Those who hold dual citizenship, including citizenship in the Republic of Turkey by birth, as stated in article (a) item. 2 above (except for those who satisfy the criteria stated in article (a) item 4),
Those who hold dual citizenship, including citizenship in TRNC (except for those who have completed their entire secondary education in a GCE AL system in TRNC, and those who have registered and completed/will complete their secondary education in a GCE AL system abroad between 2005-2010),
And those who hold citizenship in the Republic of Turkey or dual citizenship, including citizenship in the Republic of Turkey by birth, as stated in article (a) item 2 above, and who have completed their secondary education in institutions within an embassy or other foreign institution in Turkey,

can not apply.
